The National Trust garden at Bodnant occupies a south westerly position on terraced ground
above the River Conwy with commanding views across the vally towards the spectacular
Snowdonia range.

Recognised as one of the finest in the world, the vast collection of plants, some familiar,
many unusual, provide colour and interest whatever time during the season that you visit.

This is a spectacular garden in spring with magnificent rhododendrons, camelias and
magnolias. In summer, stroll around the Terrace Gardens, particularly colourful at this time of
year with herbaceous borders, roses, water lilies, clematis and many unusual wall shrubs and
climbers. Eucryphia and hydrangea provide a special feature during August and September,
while October sees a dazzling display of colour from the many autumn-foliage and berrying
trees and shrubs.
