Conductor : Peter Bridges Director : Martin Lloyd Evans. One of the most atmospheric gardens in Wales will again be transformed into an enchanting open-air opera house when the highly acclaimed company bring their new production of Mozarts powerful operatic masterpiece to Aberglasney.

Wine will be served on arrival and there will be an extended interval to enjoy a picnic on the Aberglasney lawns. Buffet meals, wine and champagne may also be ordered in advance.

Coracle-making in the boat house |
Coracles are small boats consisting of tarred material over a light wooden or basketwork frame. They were traditionally used for fishing on several Welsh rivers and are still used today in some areas. Making these light crafts is an art in itself - come along to the Boathouse and see one taking shape! |

Medieval Wall-paintings

When the Church of St Teilo Llandeilo Tal-y-bont was being taken down, a series of medieval wall-paintings was discovered. These paintings told the story of the saints and helped explain what the service was about. Come and have a go at creating your own medieval wall-painting, and hear about the troublesome game of Cnapan, which was played between different parishes.
